The photos are a bit rubbish - but I'll take some better ones soon. (The vintage carved 1920's or 30's buttons are on the top left). I also included some random junk shop finds and things picked up (such as the bullet) from Ravensbruck beach in Scotland where my in laws live.

Wow, what a collection! I like buttons but never use enough to warrant starting a collection.
I think they'd look fantastic in glass vases or jars though so maybe I can collect them from charity shops and car boot sales, fill the house with them, and then start sneakily buying nice ones when nick's back's turned... muhaha!
Thanks for the comment about the wedding. I'm still getting used to blogspot (LJ is so much easier!) but managed to spot it this afternoon. I'm feeling a bit more human today so hopefully I can get on with the wedding planning again soon. I'll definitely try to make sure I keep time for nick on the day as I can easily see us getting caught up in the day otherwise.
Hope today's a good day xx
omg! you're a button lover too!
i love all the glass and mother of pearl ones... and such a great idea for a canvas, i may have to take some inspiration from that :)
